Iron Man

Second day of our Mackintosh tour with visits to Martyrs' School, Scotland Street School and House for an Art Lover.

After a great lunch in the House for an Art Lover Cafe, I took the group over to the Burrell Collection in the heart of Pollok Country Park.

While my group were off exploring the wonderful collection in the Burrell, I spent some time taking shots of the medieval armour.

As I was taking this shot a father and son were passing. The little boy ran up to the exhibit and said "look dad it is Iron Man".

Note: Parts of this armour were made in 1535 by armourer Michael Witz of Innsbruck for the Hapsberg king.

Tomorrow is the final day of our Mackintosh tour.
