Making muddy tracks

I spent a few days at Rob's field site and was lucky enough to go out into the forest with his field team. This meant going on the back of a small moto and hanging on tight! Although the rainy season is nearing the end the ground is still very wet so a number of times I was ordered to hop off into bogs, waist deep in water so that we could make it through. This part of the journey was a particular struggle, going down a combination of serious braking and two guys holding onto the back stopped things from running of out of control into the stream below. Going back this way was the real challenge as the slope had turned into a slip & slide, giving us no traction while trying to push the bikes back up the slope- Muddy Fun!
