Bush Splendour

This afternoon we visited a magnificent "Open Garden" in Mount Victoria. The village is just about 10 minutes west of Blackheath and many of the properties on the Western side of the village have wonderful views. The garden is owned by well knows identities John and Carmel Niland.

Their garden is a labour of love and is set on 2 fairly steep acres so to establish it they have had to grade it very carefully. I love to see the marriage of Australian natives alongside the exotics and this is certainly a garden that blends the two to perfection.

We were so happy to bump into our good friends Denise and Joe Holmes, so I couldn't resist blipping CCN and our two lovely friends as they made their way around the rock pool.
