Grantchester revisited

Today is the official first anniversary of my father's death although we know it was actually the previous day (red tape eh?!!) "The Old Vicarage, Grantchester" by Rupert Brooke was his favourite poem and his wish was to have his ashes scattered in the Mill pond nearby. We duly did that last year but thought there was no better place for my wife and I to remember him today than by returning to that same spot. Jane read the poem beautifully, sitting in the same seat where my father sat on his last visit. It was very moving. Then we raised a glass to him at the Orchard tea rooms. The weather was even warm enough for us to sit outside.
