A clock for all seasons

I spotted this clock earlier in the week and took this shot as we had a last walk around the village before starting to head home. This clock is on the front of the cathedral in Mellieha, and while an adjacent clock tells the time, you will notice that this one indicated the date, date, and month instead. I can't recall seeing anything quite the same in a similar setting anywhere on my travels. The wind is still blowing today, but it is a warm wind (and a lot warmer than where we are headed next!) A lovely break in Malta - lots to see and do, and the week flew past.
