Wild day in the HIghlands of Scotland

Well, the weather forecast did warn us that today would be blowing a severe gale with amber warnings so we set off early for home. By the time we got to Killin ( Falls of Dochart pictured) we were primed for the worst.
In fact it was no more than you would expect for a wet and blustery Scottish autumn day. Last night though the storm raged through the glen and internet connection, sporadic at the best, disappeared along with phone and television signals. ( But then you don't come to this part for the joys of the virtual world).

Got home to find we have had a cat intruder and Taz very uneasy. We suspect a new cat has moved into the neighbourhood and he is having to fight for his territory.
