Inventive

The clocks going back meant for an extra hour in bed once I had done the maths as to the combined alteration to Bailey's routine. He has spent quite a proportion of today asleep, including on his latest invention: the stolen sock pillow. His sleepiness was partly down to a long walk this morning to get a newspaper and perhaps a Sunday feeling. I managed to to get quite a few jobs done with Bailey otherwise entertained. We left a walk to the quarry 'til too late because of the change to the clocks but Bailey was relatively determined to take us through the gate. We resisted and came home before it got dark.
