Jillian's Cafe

A young girl, Jillian, with Down syndrome past away suddenly in her early twenties. Her parents, determine to keep her creative spirit alive, dreamed of a cafe that would reflect her personality through the art and music that she loved.

Tonight I paid a visit to that cafe and marveled at the created space. I spoke with the tear filled eyes of her parents and felt their overflowing love.

An attentive and appreciative crowd dotted a room that graciously offered coffee and sweets. The art work that decorated the walls and coffee-bar was distinctively attractive.

The night couldn't have played out any better ending with some wonderful conversation with new friends.
