Learning day by day

Spiderman

That's my son at the top of a 12m high wall on his first attempt. He was at a birthday party and loved every minute. His sister is now very jealous, so I may have to look into taking them both at some point.

Will did well with the clock change, if not as well as I would have liked. We were out scooting by 08.15 GMT. But a free hot chocolate with my latte helped and he was happy doing his maths book (his choice, he could have coloured if he had wanted too). A few jobs later and we were home for half an hour on the iPad before lunch.

After lunch Will was spirited away by a friend to the climbing party. I did almost four hours of house work! Will returned full of the party. One bath later and N&P returned with a very tired looking Carys. She had had a lovely time but admitted herself to begin tired after asking for a non-school night bedtime. So snuggled under her winter weight duvet she was treated to two chapters of 101 Dalmatians and lights out at 18.30. Will had lights out at about 18.15 and there hasn't been a peep out of either. One very long term has taken it out of them and until Carys learns how to lie in I am afraid bedtime will have to stay where it is.
