If you can't beat them...

Autumn Colour at Askham.

Before afternoon hospital visiting we had a run out to Askham to visit a photography exhibition in the village hall. Some very impressive prints were on show, well worth the visit.

After the exhibition we had a look round the village for suitable blips. I decided on this one, looking along the River Lowther from the bridge. I haven't got many blips this year showing a lot of autumn colour, so I thought this was a nice shot, before all the leaves blow off!

In the evening we went out for a meal at the Stoneybeck to meet a close colleague who retired the same day as I did and a former colleague who had worked with us 15 years ago and was over from the North East visiting.
