surfer dude

We drove to the other side of the island to photograph the big waves. It was super crowded and hard to find parking. There is a windsurfing competition next week and tons of people were out practicing. It was beautiful to watch all the colorful sails along with all the surfers. This guy was in the back of a pickup waiting for his human to return. He sported the Mohawk quite well :) There was a hotdog stand so we had to give them a try. Mind was a vegetarian hot dog, of course, with vegetarian chili on it. It was AMAZING!!! Glenn had the chili on his full on meat hot dog and liked it as well. The guy running the stand was an older retired guy from California says he's on Maui living the dream. Says his wife took a month to perfect the chili. She certainly did perfect it as it was the best chili EVER!! We will go back in the next couple of days and have another :)
