Police Scotland Day 207, Year 2 - Anti-Violence

Tonight additional officers have been deployed on the streets of Ayrshire as part of our regular #CampaignAgainstViolence (CAV) nights. Re-deploying office-based workers up to the rank of Superintendent in this way bolsters support to local officers during the peak times for violent crime. These additional officers are tasked with carrying out pro-active violence reduction activities in the right places, and at the right times, to help keep people safe.
