I'm in stitches

I had my bandage removed and this is what my finger looked like before being covered up again until the end of the week when the stitches are removed. Looks very neat. I've now got on a device to help straighten the joint. The physio appointment has been lost in the ether (they used fax!) so my "urgent" appointment is looking even less likely to happen soon. Seeing a physio soon is a very important part of the process to make the operation worth doing, so one is not happy. They should or could have booked the appointment in advance as even urgent appointments have a 2 week waiting period...
