Grasshopper, Magnificent

In my polytunnel today, tidying up and came across this beautiful dark brown grasshopper, which very kindly stayed around long enough for me to get my trusty Lumix LX7 set up to grab a few shots!
I did, of course, Blip it in monochrome, to satisfy my personal challenge to produce a black and white blip every day for a year, and here is one of them
Monochrome Blips are more demanding than colour, because you have to think in tones, rather than colours, and so far I have come up with some varied subjects, it's just a matter of keeping one's eyes open!
