Techie Day

Spent most of the day on one of our Expo Labs teaching research skills to students. I am not convinced that searching databases on these huge surface tables is the most effective way to do it but the students seemed to like the novelty.

We are considering it an achievement that we got through all four sessions without breaking anything. These tables are not the most stable of beasts and are prone to messing up part way through a session.

More teaching tomorrow and Wednesday but then things calm down a bit at last!
