Grey houses under grey skies

We took a quick trip to Staveley today to get out for a bit. There's a nice little park there and a cafe next to the brewery. Having parked up at the brewery we got to the park, had a play on the swings* and set off on a little walk and just about got back to the car before it started raining again but we did get a bit wet.
A lot of houses and buildings here are built from what I assume is locally sourced slate. These are opposite the park.

*Luke went on the swings, Jen tells me off if I go on them.
