This is a solid state wireless low maintenance automatic depth gauge which probably has been functioning longer than I have and required about the same amount of adjustment. Well to be thoughtful I probably have required more adjustment as I have been subject to re-installation at times as The Boss changes camera bags to travelling bags. Big T was at home guarding the home front as The Boss had just dropped The Bossess off at the airport and ‘Das Auto’ off at the car place for it’s regular tyre kick and here we were walking alongside lake Wakatipu’s Southern shores to work up an appetite for Hot Chocolate and assorted calorific goodies to rebuild the ones being lost ‘Cos it was SO COLD.
The Boss had only packed a light outer layer and was regretting it but as he was breaking most of the wind…Errr unfortunate use of words there…I was quite sheltered and cosy most of the time.
It is at this spot that jetboat tours roar past on their way down the Kawarau George full of excited tourists and we did wait quite a while later to get one coming bark under the bridge but the cold and lack of Hot Choc set in so we gave up and found a nice Café with soft leather seats and The Boss played with The Blip App on his phone while I watched the young lady Barista who was making bulk coffees with amazing style and panache. Hey…The Boss just miss spelt this and got “pre wash” as an alternate. That could have made the story more interesting I recon but might not have done a lot for the coffee I guess.
Ok…Well. Big T was pleased to see us on return and we are now off to Season 2 of Orange is …..The Boss was unsure about this when he started but is now totally hooked. OH YES and there ARE dogs in it.
