Canal du Midi

The Canal du Midi flows through the town of Carcassone, bringing two UNESCO World Heritage sites together. Apparently tortoises are indiginous to the area so I went off in search of a wild tortoise. Sadly, they were all too well hidden (or I was too credulous)...
