Waiting in today for my car to be repaired I transitioned (perhaps inevitably) from watching Woody Allen to Ingmar Bergman and thence to my favourite of his films. Doesn't matter how many times I watch it, I always get something more out of it. So when the day had passed and I was blipless I suddenly heard the clatter of chess pieces on the board and someone speaking in capital letters...
