Stonechat

We had a really lovely walk in RSPB Otmoor this afternoon. There were Marsh Harriers, Greater Spotted Woodpeckers, Wigeons, and a few Stonechats too (at least I think these were Stonechats).

Taking pictures of birds is not really my thing and I had a conversation this weekend which concluded that bird photography is, on the whole, more of a technical than artistic endeavour. Nonetheless, I'm becoming more interested in birds and I think some shots, like these two hopefully, have a mood of their own.
