View from the 63rd Floor

Well, I made it (somehow) to the end of the work day and a good one it was too.

Met up with SweetArt and the gang for dinner at Carluccio's which was fab as always. G & I had our meals bought for us which was even nicer! :D

We then wended our way up to Neos at the Address Dubai Downtown. Always a real treat to take people too, and despite me forgetting to make a reservation, we were given a nice quiet area to sit and take in the view. An absolutely clear night made it all the more special. I think the girls really enjoyed it.

Being my first visit this year, it was good to see a new section has been added as there is so much demand. This area is especially dark, so there were far fewer reflections off the glass making it ideal to take pictures... and I even managed to get some pink bits for the BCAM challenge... The view if of the base of Burj Khalifa and Dubai Fountain with bits of Dubai Mall, Souk al Bahar and Business Bay thrown in.

Was in bed before midnight which was NICE and much needed! :)
