River meets sea

After spending the morning in the house we strolled down to the river Otter estuary. Here there was much excitement by a small group of birdwatchers who had spotted a grey sea bird (fallirthrop I'm not sure of the name) that has been spending time in the estuary for the last week. This was taken close to where the river flows into the sea.

Later in the evening we headed off to Exeter to watch a film, Mystery Road, eat and then return home. Our first night out here, it was a good one.
