Lord of the Flies

Looking back through my archives and posting this, three and a half years later, I (hate to say it) can't believe how fat my friend Michelle was. She doesn't look too bad here (and didn't seem to at the time) but this is a very far cry from being an Ironman today. Sorry M, but it's the only photo I took today so it's the blip.0

I went visit T and M in Portland, OR and we went to Powell's. We thought this book cover was hilarious because it makes Lord of the Flies look like a summer teen romance novel...all vacation on the beach and whatnot.
