Up.

Visited the Royal Observatory in Greenwich today to see The Astronomy Photographer of the Year exhibition. Naturally the observatory was at the top of a hill. I had to quit talking halfway up. The view from the top was still pretty, despite the rain and the fog.

We were a little disappointed by the size of the exhibition and that the photos were only displayed on screens, but I guess that’ll have something to do with space and funding.

The photos were really impressive. Some even taken of nebulas, using telescopes and with exposure times reaching between two and thirty hours, one reason for which they deserved to have been enlarged.

Completely worth the visit for the photographer's insight though.

I don't mind days like this, when they look like this.
