Spaceship

I managed a full hour photo-walk this morning down around Bangor marina and the piers. There were quite a few blip opportunities, but this ex-buoy was my favourite.

Old buoys are turning up all over Northern Ireland at the moment. we have at least two roundabouts here in Bangor decorated with them (future blips!) and I've seen them used as charity collection containers before, in Ballycastle, Co. Antrim.

This particular buoy reminds me of a spaceship I saw once, many years ago, in a cartoon.
