Metrosideros 'Mistral'

A natural hybrid of pohutukawa,often referred to as the NZ Christmas tree. I decided it would be nice for our Northern Hemisphere Christmas visitors to see why,so fingers crossed it's aware of my plans and flowers in December! Now ,as is often the way with gardening ,I have created another job for myself as I have to find a spot for the 20 or so succulents that used to call that tub home and for which there is no longer room! A job for tomorrow I think.
