Going Around the Bend

Traveling through the mountains on the way to Bend.

Oregon tends to keep the big corporates at bay which allows for many small businesses to thrive. So there are farms, stores, manufacturers, meat smokers, cafe's and coffee shops where people with passion for what they do bring wonderfully interesting commodities to the people of Oregon.

So this means independent coffee shops generally have great coffee - this little place, like many others in Oregon, do not subscribe to the corporate ideal of cheap overly roasted, over priced coffee drowned in milk. This coffee shop has home and locally made pies, cakes etc.
