Rare Halloween Tree

Went for a 20 mile bike ride this morning, and spotted this rather unusual tree.

All going well until my chain AND chain guard came off. The guard refused to go back on, OR come off. It was hanging around my pedal, so unusable. I thought I was walking home, but after 15 mins finally got it back on. Phew.
