Archaelogical ambles

After yesterday's monochromatic gloom, today the Western Isles are a different world. The Last of the Summer Wine crew were back in action with a dog - curiously called Sprout - added for luck.
"What on earth are you doing flying a kite?" I hear you say. A few weeks ago I blipped with a quadcopter, that is the high and expensive end of the tech spectrum. This is, albeit equally effective, the lower end of that same spectrum.
You will just make out a box under the kite, held together with the classic gaffer tape and string combo inside which sits a camera taking a video and then the film is cut into individual images to provide aerial coverage of this site, a chambered cairn I featured back in January.
We went on to another area rammed full of interesting remains, most of which were unrecorded. I look forward to seeing what we can put together with the various images that were taken.
