Lollipop, lollipop

(Ooh, lolly-lollipop...)

I was astounded to spot various stripy pollinators buzzing around the garden. I don't think I've ever seen bees and their ilk in operation in late October.

A lone bumble and a separate honey-bee kept visiting the fuschias and several hoverflies were making the most of the crocosmia.
