French service station café

A new day and I staggered off the ferry at Dieppe in the dark.

Had to keep stopping as exhaustion overtook me, but eventually sun shone and I had breakfast in a service station. Clean and French and welcoming. It helped put a better perspective on things.

Home with wheezing cough and fading voice, my grandson arrived to go to Rennes. Saw the Ant exhibition, sat outside a café for ice cream and then train back again.

Picked up dog from her "holiday home".

Marley and I ate newly imported vegetarian sausages and he discovered he likes mashed potato.

Going to bed early to try to catch up on sleep.
