Carrie(r) bag for life......

......apologies, but it's the same carriethecat 2 days running.....I'm stuck in waiting for a delivery (a tasty one this time, wild boar salami/parmesan cheese/pasta and a big bottle of extra virgin olive oil all the way from Italy.....definitely worth waiting in for!!) And now I'm about to dig out the baking bowl and attempt to make some yeasted cornbread....it's the perfect excuse to switch the heating on;-)

PS.....tonight I'm throwing tradition out of the window and NOT listening to Orson Wells' 'The War of the Worlds' (link a bit down the page) and instead opting for Horace Walpole's 'The Castle of Otranto' and/or Mrs Radcliffe's 'The Mysteries of Udolpho'.......there's nothing like a bit of vintage gothic;-)
