A Meandering Life...

Premier View

Didn't have time to Blip from the hub airport as we left LGW late and had less than 2 hours there. It was pitch black outside the windows anyway.

We are now at our final destination and this is the view from the premier lounge of our hotel. I don't have any photo processing on my tablet so you get window reflections and sun flares etc.

You will just make out a cable car crossing the bay and heading up and over the hills. Some of them have glass floors. We hope to try them out at some stage. At stages it is very high and huge gaps between supports.

Lots to explore and see here so watch this space.

Loction Edit:

This was taken fron the 21st floor of the Novotel Citygate hotel at Tung Chung. Across the bridge is the edge of the manmade island that the new Hong Kong International airport, Chek Lap Kok, is on.

The cable car takes you to the 'Big Buddha' at the Po Lin Monastery.
