Broadbeach

We went to the craft market this morning which was at Broadbeach. The weather is glorious and the beach is stunning. There were loads of really cool things at the market and we had a lovely nibble around it.

After the market, we went to Harbourtown and did a bit of retail therapy. It was a packed carpark, but it didn't feel heaving when in there.

The racing is on next weekend, and part of the course is on the main highway. We felt like we should have gunned it when we drove the bit by the start of the race. What a lovely driving surface!!!

I don't think we're going to want to leave. Our apartment is in Currumbin, which is out of the hustle and bustle of Surfers Paradise. We've got all sorts of noises coming from out neighbour, the Wildlife Sanctuary.

There's a massive lagoon pool and 6m spa pool, so everyone is happy! It gets dark very early here, as they don't do daylight saving. Being in the spa in the dark with the bats flying around is very cool.
