stepping up

Today I got home from work and it was sunny, so I sat on the steps for a while. Luckily the upstairs flat didn't decide to do anywashing or I might have had some dirty water splashing down beside me. Being a student I get to live in cheap old cold houses and our one has a missing pipe that leads directly to the upstairs washing machine. Our landlord(flating agency) this year are useless, and I'm heartily sick of student flats, although this one is what appears to be the servants quarters of a larger house.
It seems to have partly sunken as the some of it is crooked while other parts have been corrected(wonkily) which lends it a certain charm.

Hopefully next year I can find somthing better. :]
