Hiding place.

We have a number of shrubs in the garden heavy with berries at the moment that are a magnet for the local blackbirds. This is keeping our resident Blackbird busy protecting his food source.

The Blackbird in the photograph is hiding deep inside a berberis at our front door as this is not our resident a juvenile as it doesn't have a yellow bill. It stayed for some time eating berries from within the shrub.

This was the only few minutes of sunshine as the rest of the day was dull grey again.
