Samhuinn Fire Festival in Edinburgh

We went to look at the Samhuinn Fire Festival in Edinburgh this evening. There were loads of people, the majority seemed to be visitors. The procession started at St Giles and went down the Royal Mile, before heading down Cockburn Street and then through East Princes Street Gardens and up to the Mound Precinct. It was spectacular and very Pagan. This is one of the many participants. There were thousands of photos taken; it was hard to do it justice from the crowd though.
