Breakfast

Before I left for work this morning I spent a few minutes trying to capture falling leaves. There was no wind, the leaves were just leisurely falling to the ground in large numbers. Then as I turned out of our lane onto the hard road, I spotted this deer in the distance , slowly crossing the recently copped cornfield. I stopped, turned down the radio, opened the window, and proceeded to take about 20 photos. At first he looked at me, then went back to the business of eating. It wasn't until I got to work and was able to look at the photos that I realized it was a buck.

Obviously there was frost on the ground. The good news is that the forecast for snow tomorrow has changed to rain showers.
