Robert MacFarlane

A continuation of the Faclan book festival this afternoon. Several interesting discussions, but the highlight of the festival (by a long way!) was the conversation between Dr Finlay Macleod and the author Robert MacFarlane (seen here). If you have not read any of his books, go and do so now! His contribution to the festival was humble, motivating, inspiring, and enriching beyond description. A lovely man and a wonderful writer.... truly inspirational.
