Mossy Boulders

Went for a walk along the River Dart on Dartmoor, picking our way over the stepping stones and between the big mossy boulders . To me, these are a special characteristic of Dartmoor river valleys. I suppose they don't get much sun - and aren't disturbed. Not much autumn colour on the trees although there was a carpet of well coloured leaves on the ground. All went well until the power zoom lens failed - won't zoom out or in so will have to go back under warranty. Bit of a nuisance, though fortunately I have other options.
