In honour of World Book Day

Having seen my first Bumblebee of the year yesterday, the gorgeous Bombus terrestris, bumbling around in the early Spring sunshine, I've just grabbed one of my favourite field/pocket guides to identifying the Bumblebees of the UK.

It is stunningly produced with good quality papers, beautifully laid out and fantastically informative.
