Another Day

Peace at the Seed Feeder

The Spring Anemones are shooting up already, confused. The hedgehogs are still venturing out, confused. I'm struggling with blip, confused.

The garden feels a bit like an overcrowded airport with birds flying in to the feeders and off again in all directions. No sign of the long tailed tits yet, but maybe they'll arrive when the weather turns colder.

The final part of the long awaited bypass around Bedford has started, thank goodness and should be completed in around eighteen months. Network Rail can then dismantle the bridge near the station ready for electrification of the Midland main line.

For once it was good to see a goldfinch sitting alongside a blue tit without being aggressive.
