Hanging on

Colder and definitely more autumnal here today.

Inspired by Anni's leafy shot, I went out into the garden looking for something seasonal. I liked this one because of the way this branch seems to be reaching out with its last leaf, in a kind of "don't let them take me!" way.

I also thought about blipping this other singleton, or this pair of flowers that looked like they might be regretting coming out quite so late in the year.

Off to the US tomorrow, so my blips and comments might be a bit patchy for the next week. I'm going to take the compact, and while I'm away the a77's going in for a sensor clean - cleaning up spots on images has been driving me nuts!
