Near Fortrose harbour, on the Black Isle. You can tell which way the prevailing wind blows.

Was fairly industrious this morning... for a change. A brief step into the garden to pull the heads off a couple of Dandelions, eventually led to a full load of composting material for the appropriate wheelie bin. Leaves all raked up; weeds galore pulled; shrubs trimmed, and one nasty invasive toxic one dug out before it seeds everywhere... again.

Short cycle along to Rosemarkie this afternoon. The canoe club, and others, were trying out various demo boats brought along by the Sea Kayak Oban shop. I didn't go out. Nor am I in the market for a new boat. Have had my trusty old tub for thirteen years now, and it was already a couple of years old when I bought it. Haven't used it enough recently to warrant changing/replacing it. It still floats, in spite of all the rough landings and other abuse.
