A bank of rushes

We went for a walk up the River Otter in the morning. Various birds were busy feeding in the various areas here from lower and middle estuary to flooded meadow. A swan flew overhead, it's such a lovely sound but the camera was still in the case. This magnificent bed of reeds provides another great environment for wildlife.

Later in the day we were off to see the film Turner.
