Shabby Chic

Here’s a peep into our bedroom. This is the transformation of a sad looking pine dressing table into a contemporary piece of shabby chic furniture created by Ann with the application of chalk paint. The painting in the reflection is a poster of the Pre-Raphaelite painting Dreamers by Albert Moore. The picture on the floor is Ducks on a Pond by my late step-father, Joseph May, not quite so famous.
