Epic Day

In fact it was more than epic, apparently.

We took our Grandson to the Malton Forest Rally -Cropton stages- for the day.
He loved it!

This pic shows Jamie with Grumps, he spent the whole day videoing every car using Grump's phone -notice Grump's hands coming out of his pocket ready to shield our young man from the flying mud...
We pick our viewing points carefully, this corner was a good place as the cars are slowing down somewhat to get around the hairpin bend and we have the protection of trees...a family across from us had other thoughts and their child was running around at the base of the hill as the cars were approaching, they were safely tucked behind the trees!!


The car, for any rally heads looking in, is that of Peter Stephenson and Ian Windress. We think they finished 3rd.
