Our new friend Marcus

Exploring Negombo we came across the fishermen's quarter and met Marcus, who showed us his boat and told us a bit about what he does. A typical working 'day' sees him departing at 1am, sailing around 20km out to fish and returning 7 hours later; though sometimes he does a 10km trip and leaves at 4am. We promised to pay for his fuel if he would take us out and show us what he does first hand, and he was pretty buzzing on the idea! He showed us a brilliant eaterie which was about half the price of all the others in the area, and Jack had fun decimating the mullet that landed in front of him half an hour later.
