Day of Action

California is broke, and educational funding is being cut at all levels, from preschool to college, while college fees skyrocket. In San Francisco schools alone, 900 layoff notices have gone out. So today there were actions all around the state to protest the cuts. Thousand of students, teachers, community members and puppets turned out for a demonstration in San Francisco Civic Center after a day of local protests.
