In Chandler's Fields...

My school (The Chandler in Witley) completed its poppy project - each child and adult making a clay poppy (copying the Tower and in tribute to those who gave their lives particularly in the Great War). They're all planted on the bank at the back and looked amazing as the early sun poked through the trees this morning. The Surrey Advertiser came to photograph them and plan to use the image as the front page for this weekend's Remembrance issue.

The yellow cross is made of tulips that the governors made.
